Carnage The Executioner A.K.A. TERRELL X started his musical journey in 1984 - at age 10. Since then, he has spent the last 30 years professionally making music, motivational speaking, performing as a one-man band, traveling the world, and educating all ages of people from various socio-economic backgrounds. Carnage possesses a vast range of abilities as an artist: producing thought-provoking music; thoroughly entertaining crowds during live performances; teaching the fundamentals of human beat boxing, song-writing and strengthening stage presence.
Astute discipline in honing his monstrous craft has helped Carnage The Executioner build an impressive artist and tour resume. The most noteworthy period of his touring history includes:
•16 U.S. and Mexico tours — 2012-2021
•5 tours in Europe — 2011-2013
•1 tour in South East Asia — 2018
Carnage is a self-contained instrument and master collaborator. The Minneapolis Star Tribune made the claim that “Carnage's mouth might be the best drummer in town,” referring to his human beat boxing techniques. But using his mouth for crafting music - with an on-the-floor guitar pedalboard, to display his highly-personal lyrical content over - isn’t the extent of Carnage’s strengths. The former social worker takes pride in building strong interpersonal and musical relationships with people, while helping them define their identities. Carnage demands justice for all, and stands firm in his advocacy of unique self-expression.
Carnage has been hired to tell his life story to assemblies of all ages. He emits a heart-warning, down-to-earth energy when confidently chronicling his failures, achievements and tumultuous teenage years in the foster care system. Carnage is also a shameless survivor of poverty, physical, emotional and sexual abuse. Carnage makes no excuses for his upbringing. Instead, he draws inspiration from it to practice self-reflection.
Carnage began living a plant-based lifestyle in 2017. His commitment to eating a vegan diet has allowed him to see the importance of showing empathy towards animals. In 2019, Carnage started a grassroots movement called Plant Based Poets. His mission is to unite lovers of music, as well as people who encourage freedom for each and every living being who depends on the health of Earth’s roots for survival.
Carnage candidly shares his past struggles with maintaining a healthy body weight and engaging in over-consumption on every level. On his 2019 album, “Ravenous,” he’s extremely honest about often embracing negativity, over-eating and attracting whatever attention he could ingest. After losing 140 pounds and gaining a clearer mindset, Carnage believes it’s his calling to become an everlasting example of how we can all continuously strive to be better versions of ourselves.
