When it comes to your event, you might be confused as to what sound equipment you need to fill the room properly and lights to set mood just right. There are three key factors to consider: the size and layout of the venue, the number of people attending, and what you are envisioning. Here is a brief run down of questions and things to consider.

Size and Layout of the Venue:

Will the cocktail hour be taking place in the same room as the dinner and dance? If not, consider extra sound and mics in these spaces so that the flow of the night is smooth.
Often times, large, hard-walled rooms that are have really bad reverb. The minimalist that venues love these days look sure is spiffy, but it can leave guests struggling to hear Uncle Tony’s fabulous impromptu speech. Ask the venue if they have a built in mic system for speeches. If not, ask us! We’ve worked with tons of venues around town and are happy to help suggest what works best.
Where is the dance floor located in relation to layout of the room? PRO TIP: Put your bar as close as you can to the dance floor. The less distance people have to travel to grab a fresh one keeps the dance floor packed.

Number of Guests:

<50 - The Original Package with a subwoofer is the one. Compact but mighty, it has everything you need for lights and speakers.
50-100 - The Original Package plus subwoofer can work perfectly, but the Thriller package kicks things up a notch. If you know you have a crowd that LOVES to dance to the very end, the Thriller offers just a bit more sound, lights, and a bit of pizazz with the steel trussing.
100-199 - Thriller Package is the one. The upgraded sound and lights will keep even the wallflowers in the back of the dancefloor shaking hips.
>200 - The Mindblower package brings even more sound and lights. After all, at this point, you are throwing a small concert.
